Amanda joined Aticus Law as a Solicitor, having qualified in August 2017 following a two-year training contract at a Manchester based law firm. She secured her training contract after gaining a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course following her undergraduate Degree and post-graduate Diploma.
Amanda specialises in Personal Injury, and brings her wealth of experience in all aspects of this area, including road traffic accidents, employer liability cases and public liability cases. Amanda continues to handle a substantial caseload of fast and multi-track matters, focussing particularly on the more serious injuries and litigated matters.
Amanda specialises in cases involving injuries caused through housing disrepair, and ultimately seeks justice for tenants suffering as such. Amanda recognises that despite landlords owing legal obligations to their tenants to provide decent accommodation which is not in disrepair, unfortunately such accommodation is not always provided. Amanda seeks compensation for such tenants when they have suffered ill health as a result.
Amanda provides a friendly and approachable service to her clients and devotes her time to ensure that matters are progressing effectively and efficiently.
